Dan Boots is the senior partner and former chair of the Bingham McHale Intellectual Property & Technology group. He concentrates his practice on intellectual property and technology counseling and litigation, including patent, trademark and export control licensing; copyright, trade secret and unfair competition matters; technology procurement and transfer; patent and trademark infringement and validity studies; preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent and trademark applications in a variety of arts; E-commerce; domain names and dispute resolution; computer software and hardware licensing; book publishing; entertainment law and the arts. Jeremy Hill leads the firm’s Emerging Business Industry Team. Considering offensive and defensive issues in patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret law, he has served private- and public-sector clients in the electrical, electromechanical, night vision, semiconductor, software, mail processing and electromagnetic technology areas, and also in the furniture and automotive industries. Matt also serves as Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Area.
