Laura Borders

SPICE Owner

Laura has been an educator, therapist and facilitator/trainer for the past 25 years. She has experience in the school, community, military, hospital and outdoor settings. Laura has an extensive background in program development and implementation. She excels at creating goal driven experiential opportunities for individuals, youth/teen groups, adult groups and business teams. Her expertise is specifically in team development and leadership training.

Laura received her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy from Central Missouri State University and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. She received her Master’s Degree in Education from Indiana University.

Laura is passionate about providing others the opportunity for personal and professional growth. She is committed to creating transformational experiences for the families, schools and businesses in Central Indiana.

Toni L. Neely, BA

Facilitator/Trainer

Toni joined Pope & Associates in 2007 and brings 19 years of experience working in consumer products, start-up companies and training/consulting. She has extensive experience in sales/management, brand management, marketing, corporate training and recruiting. She achieved two ‘firsts’ as a female employee within the consumer products organization; first female General Sales Manager and first female Marketing Brand Manager for the company. Toni has trained/consulted in the following industries: consumer products, insurance, pharmaceutical, hospitality, medium to large organizations and Fortune 500 Companies.

Toni earned her Bachelor of Arts (History) from Indiana University. Outside of the consumer products industry, Toni had an opportunity to work for Scott Jones; the inventor of voicemail used around the world today. She assisted in the growth and development of two of his start-up companies; Indy Robotics and Cha Cha; the Human Search Engine. Toni also became a facilitator and coach for a leadership and coaching curriculum based in Indianapolis in 2004. She went on to earn certification as a team building facilitator (low ropes and high ropes) in 2006. She is a current volunteer for an organization called, ‘Feed Everyone,’ and has volunteered for Hospice, the YMCA, and a number of community outreach programs.

Amy Forbush

Facilitator/Trainer/Coach

For the past 8 years, Amy has been dedicated to training, coaching and facilitating teams and individuals towards personal, professional and community goals. With extensive experience in team development and strategic processes, Amy works with individuals and organizations to elevate them to higher levels of leadership, achievement and motivation. At the core of these process is elevating awareness, defining commitments and implementing practices that lead to desired outcomes.

She has extensive experience in facilitating successful teams by promoting leadership, relationship and shared goals.

Amy received her Bachelors of Architecture as well as a Masters in Business Administration from California Polytechnic SU. She is President of Forbush Design, an architectural design company, which just recently celebrated it’s 10th successful year in business.

She is a writer, a designer, a business owner, a coach, and can be seen at the Pepsi Coliseum playing for the Naptown Roller Girls.

Deseri Garcia

Facilitator/Trainer

Deseri is a dynamic coach, facilitator, and amateur athlete. A coach at heart, her passion for genuinely connecting with people and identifying what is important to them are the cornerstones of the company. It is this dedication that complements her ability to develop team and personal effectiveness. Prior to launching Vida Aventura, Deseri spent nearly 20 years in business development, where she gained invaluable insight into the value of relationship building and communication within organizations.

Deseri is ACCT certified (Association for Challenge Course Technology). She combines her coaching and athletic excellence to help runners and walkers prepare for charity race events.

Ron Sukenick

His presentations on relationship collaboration and transformation deliver practical information, humor and immediate results. Ron’s work consistently focuses on the areas of personal and professional relationship success and he has extensive insight into the processes that connect people to people. He shows his clients how to transcend the standard networking practices to build more authentic and mutually-beneficial relationships that enhance the bottom line.
